L.A. & AFRTS radio veteran Jim Hawthorne passes

According to a post on the Jim Hawthorne Yahoo fan group on Tuesday Novemer 6th of this year,
Mr. Hawthorne died this week at the Buena Vista Care Center in Goleta, CA.

L.A. listeners and Armed Forces Radio fans around the world would tune into "The Hawthorne Thing" for new insights in the world of Jim Hawthorne.
