LACK OF TALENT?

Not what i heard, RB was not compesated. Isnt the lawsuit against Univision was about, the contract had the option but TU didnt renew. RB was escorted out, thats not something you get compesation on.
You likely know more about on the matter than I do. However, it is more probable that his lawsuit against Univision was not primarily about the compensation. Instead, he sought relief from the non-compete clause and aimed to address the "false accusations" related to his termination. Given Raul Brindis and his legal team, they would never agree to a contract containing a non-compete clause accompanied by an atypical compensation package. While the compensation may seem insignificant, it always exists in some form.

The lawsuit is more about how Univision terminated RB to avoid having to pay him accusing him of violating certain company rules. I don't think he has much of a case and I told him this multiple times as recently as 2 weeks ago, but he says he did not deserve the way he was treated, and it doesn't matter what this suit will cost him he will get what he deserves. As for Guerra for sure he did conspire and violated the trust of RB that much is true, but did not do anything illegal.

That is NOT always true, which is why the non-compete is often called into question.
I agree that this may not always be the case, however, I can assure you that, in this particular instance, Mr. Raul Brindis is not struggling to cover his electricity bill or car payment for the upcoming month. The individual was well compensated for many years and is only now expressing bitterness over being terminated.

Dude... If some radio station wiped their ass with you after a couple of decades of loyalty, success and millions earned, you'd be bitter too.

While I know nothing of the lawsuit or what was in the contract, that "loyalty, success, and the millions earned" is typically a two way road. Let's not kid ourselves and pretend like Raul isn't better off today than he was back in the 90s. Even his wife seems to have parlayed Raul's radio fame into private appearances and sponsored content on social media. The man has a lot of valuable influence thanks to his time at Univision.

Good luck to him. He's a smart guy and IIRC has a degree in engineering. He won't be hurting for money even if his stint at SBS doesn't work out.

Dude, if your ratings were less than a third of what they used to be and you did not take advice from experts with considerable experience as well as findings from listener research, you are just 100% ego and 0% talent.

If he had not spent so much on the Porsches and other luxuries he'd be a lot less resentful and a lot better off today.

A Bit unfair. I don't think the experts in the building have any idea what they are doing. Name one expert in the Building. At the time they had already gotten rid of the research team, so decisions were being made on a hunch. Consider that resources have been moved over to push the BMF brand in Houston. To proof my point even more, they moved BMF over to the morning, please tell me how that has made the mornings improve. Raul was a solid talent that needed more support, and the company did not help to keep him on top. Raul will be back on top on top in months and I'm just wondering if he will get the credit he deserves. His show is not changing the same elements same people and yet he will have the number 1 Spanish morning show.

Your assessment doesn't surprise me. I have seen him and his wife around the Sugarland area and, uh...yeah, they look expensive 😂😅. There is a listing of his old house on YouTube still up. The property was listed for $1.7 Million (2022 was a seller's market) and it came with 700k worth of recent renovations, according to the description.

Like I said earlier, I don't have all the details of the contract dispute or lawsuit. But for a radio personality, he seemed financially well compensated. HBC/Univision/TelevisaUnivision gave him the opportunity to live a great lifestyle. I just don't believe TU "wiped their ass" with him. We all saw the station's ratings fall behind the KQQK and KTJM rim shots.
