LAME! Newschannel 4 and 101.9 Twister Voice guyIt

It's been awhile, but what force does clear channel have??? The guy who used to voice channel 4, which was much better is gone, and now they are using some lame guy that does the voice imaging for the Twister 101.9 and channel 4, for all their tv station imaging, we know clear channel made the mistake of having the all about me "mike Morgan" doing their weather coverage, but damn you have to convince the guy who does the voice for the twister, he is good enough for tv, damn i miss my LA & MYC feeds of NBC, cuz okc, newschannel 4...LAME LAME LAME LAME! Gary England forever!

The artist formerly known as Jose Rodriguez (I used to work for clear channel but screwed the boss's daughter, then screwed another employee, then we got engaged to the other employee and wondered why the boss got mad and i am so worthless i will never work in radio again.)
 
Have you considered that Brian Lee (the voice for the Twister and KFOR) is also an anchor voice for CNN (and Headline News), The Weather Channel, NBC, CBS, Movie Trailers and occasionally Fox News...It doesn't surprise me that local TV is moving in the same direction that the networks started to move a few years ago, toward younger talent both on and off the air. I think its a smart move on their part to associate their news product with a voice that's already associated with the brand of successful news and information. It had nothing to do with CC's sphere of influence.

Besides, Brian is a GREAT guy.

I think it actually sounds refreshing. Ch4 also needs to freshen up their theme music. But I didn't sleep with the bosses daughter and get fired so my view point may be skewed a bit.

K4 needs to freshen up their whole approach. I'm not saying freshen up the TALENT, just the style of the whole cast. They play wayyyyyy too much national news for my taste. Also, the whole show just reeks of yellows. Their presentation and set are very dated looking compared to the other two players in town at this point in the game.
 
Absolutely agree. I thought their re-hashing of the same set for 15 years (where the set was open to the news room) looked better than what they're trying to pull off now.

I guess it could be the fact that they are currently owned by a REALLY small company, who I only suspect will own them for a short time, and they're keeping the books "healthy."

A new set can cost upwards of a cool million to do...of course they could have done what KWTV did with their penis envy of KOCO's set, and hired the same design group (www.fxgroup.tv) those guys would have ended up with a threepeat of the market...how similar that would have looked.

But i'd love to know the moron who designed this toilet bowl of a set...K4 should get thier money back. At least their graphics package and voice guy looks/sounds good...but i guess that's where it ends.
