That's because when you pull the stem out to turn it back in time, it stops until the stem is pushed back in.

Not KMart. A similar chain. And when the stem is pushed back in after I turned it back, it won't start.

That's a watch I bought for maybe $20 at CVS, which no longer had those. The cheaper watches, one of which had the $25 price tag still on it from another store, don't have the problem. Not sure why my store was selling something that didn't sell somewhere else, because that's what Big Lots does. or used too.
