Do listeners want someone other than Rush in the afternoon ?

Without a doubt, it will be Rush in the early afternoons. They just have to let Rush's contract with WPHT expire. IIRC, that is sometime next month. News, Beck, Rush, Hannity during the day. Mark Levin, might be next in the evening, depending on his WNTP contract.
While my comments certainly do not speak for every employee at any particular radio company, I can most assuredly tell you that most requests for audience feedback are NOT because the company is undecided regarding programming decisions or direction. The requests for feedback are two-fold: First, to build good-will between the station and the audience (People tend to fall for that "we care what you think" crap that often drips from corporate); and Second, to gauge the potential audience in an unofficial way (like an informal Arbitron rating). If listeners want to hear someone other than Rush Limbaugh, but Limbaugh becomes available, Limbaugh is going on the station. This will be a politicially conservative news/talk station, and like him or not, he is the face of conservative talk radio.jvn said:We're eager to hear your ideas on what you'd like to hear on the station as we continue to fill out our lineup. Sounds like they are still undecided as to the rest of the lineup and want to hear some feedback. Do listeners want someone other than Rush in the afternoon ? Maybe they might do News during afternoon Rush Hours Will have to wait and see. I guess the format will be News/Talk. Hannity is still on the Streem at this hour.
