Last day of CN8 News is today

Today is the last day of the 1 PM, 7 PM and 10 PM Philadelphia based newscasts from CN8. What is the Reason for the news being ditched from CN8?
 
According to Gwen Owens' 1:30 sign off, since CN8's launch, their area of coverage has expanded "greatly" and i guess Comcast just wants the channel look less area-specific. Another example is their sports show Out Of Bounds moving to Boston (i think) later this year.

Not that it was the greatest newscast, but I'm gonna miss having news when there wasn't any on. RIP. I guess.
