Kind of surprised to see this topic in the Cincinnati section since Jimmy was so much better known in Columbus. I certainly remember him working with Phil Samp on the Bengals' Radio Network. Now Phil & he are both gone. Jimmy was certainly a real authority on Ohio State athletics. He continued to attend Buckeyes' games long after he was no longer doing them. Ironically, he passed away on the same day as Ohio State appeared in the Fiesta Bowl. R.I.P.

Since this is a radio board, I thought it was more appropriate to post here since Cincinnati is where he did radio. Besides, news of his death is already well known in Columbus.

I knew Jimmy briefly when we worked together on a charity board. He was amazing, and yes he wore his famous "loud" sport coat to formal meetings. Sorry to hear of his passing.
