Legal Action: KDKB vrs KUPD over Metallica ownership

Relations between KDKB and KUPD have never been worse. At the urging of consultant Paul Peterson, KDKB is suing KUPD over the use of "Metallica Mondays". Peterson asserts that KDKB owns Metallica outright due to their long time usage of "Mandatory Metallica" and that "Metallica Mondays" is not signifigantly different and therefore "infringes" on "their" copyright. Looks like another round of "meetings" for embattled PD Larry McFeelie this time with with potential serious legal "consequences" in the future. You'd think after an all night barganing session you'd think they would be able to come to an agreement but this one is heading to court before the next book is over.
 
Isn't Paul Peterson the Public Information Officer for the Phoenix Convention Center? Does he consult now too? Or maybe there is no link...just wondering.
