Legendary Beatles producer George Martin dies at 90

The legendary ”Beatles” record producer George Martin has died at 90, according to a message on Twitter by Ringo Starr.

“God bless George Martin peace and love to Judy and his family love Ringo and Barbara George will be missed,” Starr wrote on Tuesday.

Martin was known as the “Fifth Beatle” after signing the band from Liverpool, England, to a record contract when no one else would.

He went on to work with them on many of their hit records, including “Yesterday” and “A Day in the Life.”

Whether it was the vocal or instrumental versions, Sir George Martin's music transcended many
genres of music. You could hear his music on rock stations, easy listening stations and pop stations
to mention but a few. He also did music for films like "Goldfinger" and worked with Sir Elton John.
