Lenny Robinson, who rose to Internet fame as the so-called Baltimore Batman, died Sunday night after being struck by a car, Baltimore Fox affiliate WBFF reports. He was 51.
According to police, Robinson, a resident of Owings Mills, Maryland, experienced engine trouble with his car, which is fashioned after the Batmobile, and was checking the engine in the fast lane of he I-70 when he was struck by a Toyota Camry. He was pronounced dead at the scene after troopers responded to a call at approximately 10:30 p.m. ET.
The driver of the Camry was uninjured, and no charges have been filed.
