Leslie Fram Up For Radio Hall Of Fame Award

My thoughts? She is not "yet" deserving of the Hall of Fame. Much more deserving in her category is Luther Masingiill of WDEF in Chattanooga, who has been dominant for 69 years and counting. Same time (mornings,) Same station, longer than in anyone in the history of broadcasting.

It's a crime that people who have worked in a major market for 15-20 years get voted in, while Luther, who turned down every major market in his career, is not in the Hall. The guy shouldn't be penalized because he loves his hometown and his family!

I would tend to agree... Nearly 70 years - wow - I'd be very surprised if he was not a first ballot Hall of Famer based on that alone!

reminds me of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame nominations...ignore the obvious artists that helped shape genres of music for the safe choice or those who would get ratings or attendees. quite the joke.
