Ever since Tampa Bay radio has thrown Liberal has-been Mike Reeves out on his ear, He has been hiding up in Hernando county doing the (Yawn) morning drive on 99.9 WXJB...you know the deal? The same tired (YAWN) News magazine that Mr Larson likes so much..So whats my problem with that you may ask?? Reeves has been pretending for the last year or so to be conservative? most of this show is nothing but call in's from radio want-to-be Captain Matt Bruce & Reeves plays the conserative part to a tee...Lately, Listeners have been calling him out on it & Now Reeves claims almost daily! To be (Get this) "non partisan"???...Oh how the mighty have fallen? Mike , you can't have it both ways, I know you need the gig? But being a Hypocrite just doesn't seem your style?? Hmmm...
 
What is your problem with Mike Reeves, did a great job at WMTX for several years before moving to Q105. Just to be given the pink slip by CBS Corporate during the firing spree of X-Mas 2008.

Um...the poster pretty much spelled out what he feels the problem is. Pink slipped or not (and we've all been there), he apparantly feels its a SchnittJob (i.e. Britney and TMZ in the morning, phony right wing schlock in the afternoon)
 
This may shock some people, but probably as many as a third of all local 'conservative' hosts (as opposed to the nationally syndicated members of the Washington think-tank establishment) do not really believe what they're saying. They're just radio people trying to hold on to a paycheck. In the early days of talk radio, some hosts would play a conservative in one town and a liberal in the next town. Others would claim they had been 'converted' to see the evils of liberalism. ::) Pro Wrestling for grownups.

LOL @ "Pro Wrestling for grownups". Political commentators even tour like pro wrestling. Beck does tours and closed circuit at movie theaters. Maher is touring and selling out. Jon Stewart had two sellouts in Clearwater. O'Reilly is drawing good crowd crowds too. He's even doing an iPPV with Stewart.
