Fraiser debuted on Lifetime 2 weeks ago on Monday March 6. It was airing Monday-Friday 1PM-2PM and 11PM-12AM. Now as of yesterday Monday March 20 they have moved the late run of Fraiser. It is now Monday-Thursday 12AM-1AM and Fridays 1230AM-1AM. The god awful Will and Grace Show has moved back into the 11PM-12AM. Both Shows also have runs on the weekend on Lifetime.

Medium will be debuting on Lifetime this Sunday at 11PM.

The Nanny is no longer aired 5PM-6PM on Mondays. It will still air in all other weekday timeslots including 5PM-6PM Tuesday-Friday. A new Lifetime Real-Life Show CheerLeader Nation is now airing on Mondays 5PM-6PM. This garbage show is also airing Saturday Mornings and Sunday Nights. (Sunday being when the new episode airs).

Apparently,Fraiser is not doing as well as Lifetime thought it would. Just like the time that they put Laverne and Shirley on Lifetime in 2003 but after a few months it went away as well.

I guess that Lifetime will forever be called "The Golden Girls/The Nanny/Designing Women/Will And Grace" channel because that's just about all the shows they are going to air on there except for the Movies Of The Week and they just about exhausted them as well.

Well seeing how you, nor I, are the demographic for the show -- or even the network -- they really don't give a damn what us GUYS think. You do know that the network's prime demographic is WOMEN, don't you?

and unsolved mysteries, which is the one show I like. I remember lifetime airing that as far back as the early 90's.

Yes I realize Lifetime's demographic is Women. I'd have to be deaf, dumb, and stupid to not realzie that. (No offense if anyone here is deaf, dumb, or stupid).

I really think, though a progam on high school cheerleaders is not the way to go. Now if they were cheerleaders from the NFL, I and every other guy in American would watch.

I don't understand why they didn't move Levere and Shirley to ABC Family. Lifetime and ABC Family are both owned by Disney. They could run it 12PM-1PM instead of Full House. As much as I like Full House I don't see why it's on 12PM-1PM and 3PM-4PM. The 12PM-1PM run is a rebroadcast of the previous days 3PM-4PM airing.

It's still on, at 2PM ET weekdays.

A show like that is already out. It airs on CMT and shows the tryouts for the Cowboy cheerleaders. Guess that show is country enough to be on CMT.

Anyways why Lifetime has this new high school cheerleading show is to get younger women to watch the network. True a show like this I thought would wind up on MTV. But I think it fits Lifetime just right.

Also to add Lifetime has some more changes. Check out this link from B&C.

It is going to look like that Lifetime will join every other channel on cable and network and have reality and talk shows not to mention the umpteen reruns of The Golden Girls/The Nanny/Designing Women/Will And Grace/Unsolved Mysteries.

I remember 15 years or so ago when Lifetime used to air Marcus Welby MD and Family. And now look what a mess the channel has turned into.

Both of these statements by the above two posters proves that if you don't know what you're talking about, please refrain from posting as both of these statements are a bunch of crap.

How do you know that this network is not what they signed on doing??

I'd bet my house they are.

When Lifetime networks signed on 15 years ago, their focus was women. It STILL is. Seeing a handful of GUYS complaining about a network for women is hilarious.

Programming changes in 15 years. Do you really think that "Marcus Welby MD" attracts the prime demographic of Lifetime? If so, then you really need to educate yourself. Networks must evolve with their prime demographic. Which means that some of that demographic "ages out". It's no different than radio in some aspects. It's pretty sad to even remotely have to explain programming, as it is NOT rocket science. It should be a pretty easy concept. Well, I guess it would be to those, like me, who get it.

Lifetime isn't doing anything different now then what they're did back then. Golden Girls, The Nanny and Designing Women bring in big numbers for Lifetime. Plus, they are smack dab in their demo. Hell, Golden Girls continues to attract a new audience that were either not born yet or babies when GG was in first-run.

Really GUYS...if you don't like Lifetime, don't watch it. Especially don't bi*ch about it because some of you don't have a clue about programming.

Thank you richardhead!

My opinions might be a bit biased, being that I work at Lifetime, but compared to where the network was 15 years ago we have come a LONG way and the focus has NOT changed.

In the beginnings, Lifetime came off more serious with women's issues with shows like "Attitudes", "What Every Baby Knows", etc. However, there has to be fun mixed in, which is why shows such as "The Nanny", "Golden Girls" and "Desigining Women" still bring in the numbers. Shows like "Cheerleader Nation" along with younger skewed Lifetime Original Movies such as "For One Night" and "Augusta, Gone", are meant to get the next generation of women to tune into the network since the current demo is getting older. And speaking of movies, the current crop of acquired TV movies show a more positive angle on women being strong as opposed to "abused, weak, etc."

It might be amusing here to see guys complain about Lifetime, but it is no shock that there is actually a significant number of men (much higher than most people realize) that actually tune in on a regular basis...heck, there are "Golden Girls" fans that are guys too!

The one STINK, admittedly, are the timeslots the new shows are getting. IMHO, Sunday nights at 10PM is no place for "Cheerleader Nation". That seems more like a 7PM show during a day in the week. There is also another show "Face The Family" that airs Saturday nights at 11PM (which is basically the TV graveyeard). That show, if placed on a better timeslot, is actually good enough to get a significant amount of viewers (think "Wife Swap" but with boy/girlfriends switching families).

Granted, you don't have to like Lifetime. But the network is STILL committed to serving its target audience, and despite the other women networks out there (Oxygen, We) Lifetime must be doing SOMETHING right to maintain a number 1 status. Lifetime Movie Network is continually growing in subs each month and Lifetime Real Women is starting to pick up as well.

"Laverne and Shirley" are still running at 2PM/2:30PM if you have Lifetime Real Women.

Given the all the drug ads in Frasier, it looks like their demo is old ladies - and maybe old guys, too.

The early seasons have been out of syndication for years and I appreciate Paramount and Lifetime putting them back on - and running them in order. IMHO these were Frasier's strongest years.

I notice that in some markets, at least, the syndicated Frasier has changed stations, and they are running early episodes, as well. But they are running them out of order. It looks like they do one episode from a season, then one from the next season, then one from the season after that ... (except for two-part episodes). And even the episodes from each season appear picked at random. It almost seems like Best of Frasier.

However, season 2 does contain the second most popular episode of all time -- "The Innkeepers" -- which will air on Lifetime on April 6, if they continue to follow the scheduling order they have thus far.<P ID="signature">______________

I'm not trying to be a smart allec, but who gets that channel? My dad has digital cable. He gets Lifetime on channel 41 and Lifetime Movie Network on 161? (Channel 100 something). The only reason I even heard of that channel is because I saw a link on Lifetime's Website.

It's not that widely distributed. I know a couple of Time-Warner systems that carry it on the digital tier but that's about it.

Heres a question, didn't Lifetime once air "Mad About You" the once NBC sitcom that ran in the mid 90s. I do remember seeing it on Lifetime once or twice, what ever happened to that show? I thought it fit right in with "The Nanny" and "Golden Girls".

Also I do think Lifetime is ran much better and has better programing then WE or Oxygen. I see maybe down the road that WE and Oxygen could become one network called"Oh We". Just a thought.

Yes, my wife and are upset over the fast move of Frasier to midnight on Lifetime. We have WB+ on cable here in Palm Springs so we see plenty of Will and Grace as it is. Luckily, our FOX KDFX-LP carries Frasier at 10:30pm so at least we get something at a decent hour.
