You are giving most of the people who post here way too much credit. Most of the posters are "fans," who have never been near a radio station. On this board, people are fans with a political agenda. It's easier on the other boards. People who post about Oldies like oldies, so they may argue fine points but they pretty much share the same agenda. Here you've got RWers and LWers with contradictory agendas who think what happens in political talk radio matters in the real world.
In any case, you can't talk to fans. They only care about what they like. They don't care about our problems - and there's really no reason why they should. I'm no different. If I go to a restaurant and they are having problems, I don't care about their problems. I only care whether I like the food and whether the service is good. The difference between me and most radio fans is while I know whether I like the restaurant's apple pie or not - I DON'T think I know how to make one.
