Yes, When Lincoln Financial bought Jefferson, Pilot, they bought the name as well. Unless, Lincoln Financial was willing to give it up legally, I doubt we will ever see the name Jefferson Pilot again. Broadcasting was never the core business of Jefferson Pilot, and it definitely is not the core business of Lincoln Financial.

Still, I can see FOX being interested in WBTV but certainly not WWBT or WCSC---Charleston is a sub-100 market, after all, and Richmond is #61.
