Wow... I hope folks can string together a shared network to open more slots to listen to this... they are limited to 20 concurrent sessions.

Biggest problem is nearest place to catch NOLA signals outside of city is in western parts, with the internet still down in some parts of the bayou area... That and some of that internet was routed thru New Orleans

Also I thought NOLA was on digital trunking? But reports are , the radios are starting to go down right now according to local media reports

Not to turn this into a scanner discussion, NO PD use a EDACS PRO-VOICE digital scanner system (Not currently monitorable using scanners sold legally on the US market...)

However with so much damage to infastructure, including communications systems, my guess is they are using the most basic systems that are availble to them...
