Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie Forman on That '70s Show) Dies At 43

This isn't much of a surprise, but it's still very sad. Lisa Robin Kelly died at around the same age and in the same manner as my grandmother, a college-educated ad executive who had a similar alcohol-fueled fall from grace in the '60s and '70s.

That Ms. Kelly was so tormented for so long and so publicly is heartbreaking. It just proves the old adage that fame and fortune don't buy happiness. Hopefully her family and loved ones can somehow find the peace during this difficult time that so eluded Ms. Kelly in life.
