LIVE 105 Celebrates 20 Years of Modern Rock on Sunday

Heard the promo this morning, I'm pretty stoked about it.. Heard Steve Masters and Roland West seems like an awesome retrospective is coming Sunday at Noon apparently with the Top 10 Modern Rock songs from individual years in LIVE 105 history...

this is a pretty momentous occasion. I'm surprised they didn't feature it beyond a weekend promotion. Could have been an interesting way to build momentum for the Fall.

A couple of hundred songs on a Sunday is a momentous occasion?

The momentous part is Masters and West, together, back on that air.

From what I understand there won't be live in-studio "shows" from the former DJs, they just recorded a lot of "happy anniversary" blips and stuff. but the music should be good.

of great or far-reaching importance or consequence: a momentous day.

Pioneering a format, keeping the same format for 20 years = momentous.

However, the execution could have been a bit more inspiring (unless the audio web stream cuts out the good stuff). While music was interesting, the pre-Recorded Masters/West liners, combined with uninspired production left the listening experience a bit un-momentous.

Live 105 has always had some of the worst promotion people. Anyone know if Julie Bruzone is still with the station?
