Local WSPK Going The Way Of The Corporates?

Seems like a couple of months ago WSPK's imaging sound has be considerably upgraded and its intermix with songs is definitely tighter. Used to be "song...imaging...song" whereas now it's "song, image, song".

Haven't seen anything in trades about a Creative Service Dir. position being created or any new hires, which has me wondering if the "live and local" station is beginning to go the way of the corporates...

Anyone else notice and or know anything about this?

By the way by going the way of the corporates I mean ... are they out sourcing these services? (sounds like it to me) Would hate to see more job loss.

nope

nope. i work there. still independent, just tightening, and still #1 station
