Lockout hasn't hurt TV interest in the NBA, big gains for NBA-TV

The lockout hasn't soured the nation's appetite for pro hoops: TV ratings are up, according to TrueHoop blog/ESPN.com writer Henry Abbott:

NBA-TV is doing particularly well thanks to renewed interest in the Los Angeles Clippers, according to this press release (via The Futon Critic):

From an anecdotal standpoint, I know neither ESPN or TNT has ever cleared more Clippers games before this season--its an easy bet that the Clippers are helping their fortunes too. (The Clippers are no longer a basketball punchline with dunk machine forward Blake Griffin being assisted by All-Star guards Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups.)
