So, I seem to notice that there is something of a shift in music trends. What is for certain is that in some radio stations (overseas, of course) that have re-launched and shifted musically (to a degree), some older established DJ syndicated shows such as Armin's ASOT among others are being phased out for newer younger skewing programs from the likes of Nicky Romero, EDX, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, etc. Is this the overall trend that Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and other 'uberDJ's are running their course, or just following where the 'popular' music is (monetarily that is). I know from the satellite radio perspective, that appears to be the case with the unpopular switch of Electric Area to Diplo's Revolution. Many of the programs popular since the late 2000s that were on Electric Area were cancelled in favor of Diplo and like Dj's alienating a slightly older audience with the change back in 2018, I believe. Is these newer radio shows resonating much like the longer established shows were (or still are...depending on who you ask?)
