Looking for a good Wifi radio but I am unable to find one!

Aluratek makes two good ones, a clock radio type model and a regular bookshelf one.

I used to recommend the Roku units, but I'm not sure they're made anymore, they were the most flexible: AAC+, MP3, WMA. Aluratek only plays WMA and MP3.

No. Unfortunately.....if a radio station has it's own player that's not compatible with Radio time, it won't work. Liquid compass is one example. Squeezebox is licensed only to use radiotime as the main portal for commercial on -line radio. Yes it will work if the engineer at the station gets a report or notified why it isn't compatible with the Squeezebox or Radiotime...if he's willing to make adjustments...then it will work. And Radiotime can make adjustments if they were not aware a station is streaming...you can report it....and there's at least a 50% plus chance they can get it on for you if it's reported.

Thank you for quick reply Starbucks. So, as long as it's on radiotime.com, I will be able to listen to it on the internet radio box? If so, then thats a GREAT thing. There are a bunch of stations you can listen to online there. That would be my main purpose, to listen to out of town stations.

The Squeezebox has a "local radio" menu built in. Not sure if it is exactly based on what Starbucks is talking about or not. I think if you go to Logitech's website and get a number for tech. support..they could answer your question accurately.

Doesn't neccessarily mean just because it's on Radio time online...it will work with the Squeezebox. Then that's when you make out a notice to Radiotime to see if it's compatible with Squeezebox. There's a guy name Kyle who does a nice response on getting it fixed if it's not Squeezebox compatible. But! Again...there's a 50% chance that he can make it happen if the station's player is compatible.

Local radio menu is not exactly what he's referring to when he says "any station". And yes you will see every station listed plus the HD stations in each market relating reference to city/town and zip codes on what station signals come in your area. But!!, not every station's stream will still work due to unauthorized IP address, or not compatible with Radiotimes portal.

Hmm...got me wondering...I reported that my stream changed IP's and within 24 hours my stream was up and running. Didn't have any issues with the engineer at RadioTime.
