Looking for recording of 1939 WJJD interview with my grandmother and great grandmother

Hello. My grandmother and great grandmother were interviewed by Dr. Charles Copeland Smith on February 26th, 1939 in a program called "Interview with two german refugees." It would mean the world to my mother and I if an audio recording could be found. I would love to get any ideas of where to look for a possible audio recording. I have a transcript but am not able to upload it. I can provide it by email if request.

Thank you,

Jeff

I would assume that, if a recording exists, it would be in a public archive such as a university or library, or in the possession of an heir to Dr. Smith. Or possibly acquired by a private collector from such an heir.

The fact that a transcript exists suggests that a recording existed at one time, because I don't think anyone was taking transcripts in real-time as standard practice.
