Looking to get into the business? Have a got a job for you!

Hey all -

I'm looking for up to two people to join us here at WYAB.

As some of you know, we just got a construction permit to go to 103.9 FM and we'll be expanding our coverage into Jackson by a fair amount. With this growth spurt comes the need for a few additional staffers.

For the right candidate, there will be a quite a bit of daily on-air work. Plus, if you can sell a radio ad or two, then all the better. It's a full time job with benefits to the first person that can do it well.

I would prefer someone with a bit of experience, but it's not absolutely required.

Did I mention that you get to work in beautiful Flora, Mississippi - just 11.4 miles from Jackson?

I need someone right away - so if you're interested, then contact me here:

Matt Wesolowski, General Manager
WYAB 93.1 FM
740 Highway 49
Suite R
Flora, MS 39071
(601) 879-0093 (Call between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM)

Just a casual note... no disrepect to anyone... but whenever someone posts a job on these boards, it appears one of two things happen:

#1... it gets no replies, but all of a sudden someone has a new job, or
#2... although the person who placed the ad gives specific instructions on how to proceed, someone asks "how much does it pay?", as if negotiations are going to take place on a public board.

Once again, no dis at all, but I have observed this a number of times; you aren't be the first (and won't be the last).

How much do they pay?
