Looks Like Another Rhythmic CHR Is Givng Major Airplay To Fallout Boy

"Saguar We're Going Down" looks like one of the biggest feelgood Rock anthems CHR has seen in ages. After topping the playlist of Rhythmic CHR Wired 96.5 Philadelphia, it's now Top 15 at Wild 97.9 Oklahoma City:

http://www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=KKWD-FM

KKWD is currently the only Rhythmic CHR playing the song, but Rhythmic-intensvile CHR/Pop powerhouse, 102.7 KIIS-FM has it in its Top 20, and it is the only Rock hit currently receiving any type of major airplay on the station.
KIIS-FM has also started playing Fallout Boy's follow up "Dance Dance" during nights.

Interesting to note that while most CHR/Pop stations lean more Rhythmic at night, KIIS-FM leans a bit less Rhythmic in the evening when the teens tune in. I guess the Los Angeles area female teens still enjoy hearing Avril Lavigne's "My Happy Ending", The Killers "Mr. Brightside", Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", Maroon 5 "She Will Be Loved", No Doubt's "It's My Life", Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc.", Blink 182's "All The Small Things", or Hoobastank's "The Reason". You will hear these records sprinkled in during the daytime too, but are more likely to hear them in the evening.

I don't think anybody DIDN'T play Bring Me To Life in summer 2003.

KZZP was on it (Still Rhythmic CHR then)
It was the ONLY rock song in rotation on WXSS until they decided to add Michelle Branch

You couldn't go anywhere without hearing this song. Of course it got played on the Urban and Rhythmic CHRs - it was huge, had a beat that was similar to what you hear in many a hip-hop song, and of course we can't forget the "rapping" (the words were weak and the guy isn't even a rapper, but most still thought it was off the chain, or off the hizzy, or whatever the kids are saying these days). I think you could hear it pretty much anywhere except maybe for the Country stations. It was insane.</P>
