Looks like the employes of HSN have evacuated due to the hurricane

I used to live about a mile from the HSN headquarters. My area has been evacuated. This storm represents my very worst Florida nightmare. If the storm moves any further west, the storm surge in Tampa Bay will flood huge areas of Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. My thoughts and prayers are with my family and friends in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

The latest models show a direct hit on Naples, Marco Island and Fort Myers, but anything can change, including Miami/WPB. Irma's STILL a monster at a category 3, and she can go wherever she wants with those 125+ mph winds. Prayers to FL!

Suspending operations was the right move. The storm will be past Tampa soon and the damage to the region can be assessed. For now it appears that the very worst fears weren't realized, but it's still pretty bad.
