LOREN PETISCE JOINS CAT COUNTRY MORNING SHOW

As executive producer. I assume she left the weekend slot on PRO FM since when you click on her name it says "dj not found" as it does with Chris Eagan.

wow! sounds good....Cat Country is getting more new people. Heard a new girl last nite. Does some weekends. Samantha? Tried to find her on the website but not there. Anyone know anything about her?

Samantha's been doing weekend work for awhile & this is a great move for Loren. Tim Leary & The Morning Showgram rules! Oddly the best programmed station in Providence continues to be the one supposedly without a PD.

Well then, get both those chicks some recognition! I do have to agree that Cat Country is a very good station. And Loren is a very good jock as well. Get Loren and Samantha up on that damn website. Tim and the morning showgram is a good show.

I could tell Tim Leary was going to click the first few times I heard him. He's funny and also a family guy so he brings that into the show. I also notice Big John is doing traffic but also playing more of a role interracting with Tim. Seems like Cat Country finally brought in a big gun for mornings. Now I still wonder who's programming the station. Could a station exist without a PD? Maybe that's the next trend. It could work in instances where there's teamwork and everybody knows the direction to go in.

He could work, but only in a atmosphere like they have at Hall, one big station and one(two?) other small AMs. I think it'd probably fall apart after that.

A station without a PD couldn't work in a corporate environment as you'd need someone just to waddle through all the BS & bureaucracy. If anything, & not just in radio, a corporate environment has resulted in fewer people at the bottom actually exerting elbow grease & more people taking up space at the top.

I have a feeling WCTK has a PD in place who can't officially announce it yet but may be giving input for now until he's allowed to start there. I'd bet on someone being named by the holidays.
