Facts do not support this whatsoeverOh ok but barely anyone watches SNL as it is whos to say before 2025 NBC doesnt cancel it.
Considering that Saturday became a desert for traditional network TV long ago, SNL has been able to create a profitable niche audience for nearly five decades. Why would they cancel a show that produces revenue in a dead daypart?Oh ok but barely anyone watches SNL as it is whos to say before 2025 NBC doesnt cancel it.

Lorne wants to retire after the 50th season of the show in 2025. The show will live on as long as the cast and crew want to keep doing it.
