a) What's the new format?

b) Last time I looked, weren't those Adult Standards/Nostalgia stations? Switching from AS to Oldies only postpones the inevitable. You go from demos that are way too old to demos that are just too old. It's not a pardon. It's not a reprieve. It's just a delay.

The site still says Be Listening Friday at 5. What'd they do?

Saul flipped back to standards. Nonstop Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Roger Whittaker, without a June Christy or Louis Prima anywhere in sight to ease the boredom. Yawn. Oh, wait, there's "Sugartime." Whee.

Yep, Los Angeles lost their AM Oldies stations years ago when KRLA 1110 reformatted too a new frequency and a talk station.
