Maybe not, but it was I who installed the RAM in the Ramalamadingdong. It's a tricky procedure, requiring the use of a anti-static grounding strap and a doo-wop diddy ditty to prevent electrocution.I never did find out who put the bop....

I'm just amazed no one mentioned the Dalai Lama.
You know you're just a little too into radio when the first thing I thought of when I read that quote is how, if I were to climb the mountain to see the Dalai Lama my thoughts would be on how it would be a great place for a radio tower with a clear line of sight as far as the eye can see. And of course, I'm thinking the first song played would be Kathmandu from Bob Seger.Dr. Don Rose, KFRC, in the 1970s:
“Then there was the time I was in Tibet and I climbed the mountain to see the Dalai Lama.
I said “Oh great one, tell me: Why am I here?”
He said “Beats me. I told them to send up a girl.”
Boy, is that typical DDR, or what?

Power is #4 in the 18-34 audience wow.
And it has been three or four decades since CHR targeted teens and 18-24. The money is in women 25-44 for that format.Having Ryan Seacrest as the #1 morning show in LA has a lot to do with success in that demo. He does well in 25-54.

With Big Ratings, L.A.’s K-Earth Celebrates ‘Consistency With A Dash Of Evolutionary Surprise.’
It’s been a great year for Audacy classic hits “K-Earth 101” Los Angeles, the focus of this week’s Inside Radio “By The Numbers.” According to Nielsen, K-Earth scored a 7.1www.insideradio.com
Great quote from Chris:
“A couple of years ago we added some music that, on the surface, was unexpected on K-Earth — things like Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, The Killers and Foo Fighters,” he says. “We’ve been validated in those decisions by the ratings and what’s happening in pop culture around us. We saw that this was mass appeal for our audience a couple of years ago and reflected that.”
