The commercial ones that are in Burbank or that area (the SBS stations, KROQ and the iHeart alternative station only make it to the western edge of the Inland Empire survey area. The ones on Wilson look right at the IE.

The Inland Empire market is just a piece each of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. You can find recent maps at ARBITRON NIESEN Market Maps - Methodlogy - Market Data The maps are PDF and you can enlarge them considerably to see the market areas clearly.

In the Casa Blanca neighborhood of Riverside on my Sangean HDR-16 radio, I get all of these except KCRW and maybe 20% of the time I lose KKGO.

Many of the stations come in on a car radio sounding as strong as a local station.

It really depends what part of the Inland Empire you're talking about. In the San Bernardino area, most signals are pretty solid. But if you go down more toward temecula, most stations start to disappear.

I found KBIG comes in very strong no matter where you go. KPWR is staticky pretty much everywhere you go.

There is always a difference between signal maps (of any type) and actual real life reception which can vary even from neighborhood to neighborhood and building to building. I take any signal map as an approximate and general determination of where the signal is likely to reach.

Keep in mind that the deep southwestern part of Riverside County is not in the rated market... it is in no rated market!

In fact, a wide but narrow swatch of "West Outer" is not in either the LA nor the Riverside-San Bernardino books at all... including Ontario!

Ah, how it must be to live in “West Outer”, where nobody wants you, not LA, not Riverside, not San Diego. Yet a considerable amount of people live in these areas!

Most L.A. stations on Mt. Wilson can be heard perfectly around the largest Inland Empire cities (Riverside and San Bernardino). However, they are shadowed along I-15 near the Cajon Pass. Most also have trouble on the 15 south of Corona, but they come in well again around Temecula.
