That is one of my favorite Vallenato songs, indeed. I've been following the genre since the promotion manager of Codiscos invited me to the first Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata back in the 60's when it was more or less a street fair with a lot of aguardiente consumption and really lousy hotels! (But I would not trade that experience for anything in the world)
