Lost of CBS Network Signal during CBS Evening News Tonight

My local CBS affilate WBNS-TV in Columbus lost the CBS network signal during the 6:30 PM feed of the CBS Evening News tonight.

The WBNS logo and station id was seen during the first ten minutes, and then the local news anchor team carried local breaking news about the Fort Hood shootings for about 15 minutes before WBNS got the network signal back and broadcast the last 5 minutes of the CBS Evening News.

Did other CBS affiliates have trouble picking up the 6:30 PM feed of the CBS Evening News tonight? What did your CBS affiliate do when it lost the CBS network signal?

I've "lost" the feed to the CBS Evening News ever since Dan Rather was bounced out.

I "lost" that feed when Walter Cronkite retired. I'm surprised to hear that CBS still has a network newscast. ;)

As far as the OP is concerned, I suspect it was only your affiliate having difficulty with the CBS NY feed.
