Lou Epton said farewell today - friday Nov. 2nd., after about 15 years on brokered talk KLAV-AM 1230.
What ashame to have a major market (Vegas) with so many ex-KDWN hosts that have to broker their time on KLAV-AM 1230 due to media consolidation that prohibits local voices due to budgetary and ideological reasons.
All these Vegas frequencies with zero ratings and endless hours of syndicated sports radio and hot talk, and none of these owners will pick up Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, Doug Basham, Hart Kirch, Pete Moss, Tru Hawkins, and now, Lou Epton.
Some of these local KDWN refugees would gladly do a show for *FREE* on these frequencies at first, until advertisers would come on board.
