Louisville radio personality Larry Miller dies in car crash

Larry Miller, assistant PD of WRKA in Louisville died from injuries he received in a 1 car accident yesterday in Woodford County. The accident occurred just before 7:00 pm.

He is survived by a wife and two teenage kids.

Larry worked for WRKA from 1985 to 1997, then at Jacor Louisville from 97 to 99. He rejoined WRKA when Cox Radio took over half of the Jacor properties.

He was an extremely talented, fun, funny man who was a joy to work with.

He worked in Shelbyville at WCND, and someplace in the Lexington area back in the 80s.

I met Larry when I started at WRKA in 1986. Larry Miller was my friend. He is already missed.

Larry was a huge Beatle Fan. I would hope the family will incorporate some of their music into the services.

I grew up in Louisville and listened to some awesome personalities who influenced my radio career... Larry was one of those. Louisville has lost one of the best!
