Love and Hudson to reunite on MY 102.5?

:D :eek: 8) ::) ;D I keep hearing that Love and Hudson are going to reunite and bring back the Love and Hudson Good Morning show to WMYI-MY 102.5. Is this true?
 
No, that would cost money. I just checked in with the CC stations this morning, and found Ellis reading his own news on WSSL. On WMYI, the morning show was on vacation, so they just didn't do any news.

Heading back to my internet radio listening now. Maybe I'll check in again in another year or so.
 
Yea, I listened in to WMYI this morning and Lizz Ryals didn`t sound so good. She wasn`t playing a good selection of songs either. Why didn`t she read the news? Why is Clear Channel SO cheap? Is WMYI really making any money? I think that they may need Roxanne Walker on there doing the Morning news. Didn`t she sue WMYI after she left (on two seperate occasions)?
 
They make plenty of money, but CC and others get more greedy every year. Also, they need more money to prop up other stations in the chain not doing as well.
 
When I lived in the area in the late 1980's and 1990's, that was the happening morning show in the market and would love to hear them again. I wok up to them every morning and never missed a morning with them because they were so entertaining. It is a shame that CC has gutted a great radio station.
 
My name is Brian Hudson, and I'm the son of Howard Hudson of the Love & Hudson morning show. I can verify that the fellas are preparing to reunite the morning show. They made a "teaser" type of interview on WSPA TV today, and since I see my father every day, I can verify that fans of the show should keep their eyes and ears open... The show will be reuniting very soon. That's about all I can say at this point, but yes, the reuniting of the show is imminent, and coming soon. 8)

Wow, four years later....hmmm...even now I'm surprised to hear any station actually hiring talent (that isn't straight out of college).
 
its the worst kept secret. i wont be the bad guy and give the frequency i hope they do better than skip church though
 
I respect talent, and Love & Hudson are premium TALENT. Whatever in the Flyin' Fudgecake is up, I will be the first to say "Good To Hear You Both Again!". Just to review, around 4+plus years ago, then MY102 Operations Manager, Scott Johnson, Boob that he was, felt that News Girl, Sue Meyers contributed more to the show than Howard. At first, he instructed Howard to taper-off or restrict his use of character voices. Later, he would spearhead Howard being fired. Not long after this stroke of warped wizardry, Johnson would also ankle, just shortly after his house was finished in some nearby snoodie neighborhood;...(You Shudda Rented)...yet the damage was done. I don't know which is worse, to have an OM with than level of blindness or the understanding that someone hired him for his alleged vision.....(We all have seen this before).
Bill & Howard, Scooter Lesley is on your side....unless someone hires me to go opposite you!
If that happens, keep your sword nearby...you know my reputation.
 
It just hit me. Love and Hudson are re-uniting and it's not My or Magic. WMUU has a major announcement at 5pm. BJU is either selling or leasing the station and voila, new home for L&H!

With this post, it seemed like freqdev was giving a certain "spin" on this story, but the thread CraigD started indicated otherwise. Will be interested to see what the reality is.
 
I guess it's worth mentioning that another former MY 102.5 personality has resurfaced...I heard Greg McKinney doing mornings on WSPA-FM this past week.

103.1 isn't much of a signal. It's way more of an Anderson station.

In other words, McKinney is back at "Magic" - the place he was prior to "My".
