Lucas Oil sells MAVTV to Racer Magazine, rebrands to RACER Network

MAVTV a cable network that started out as Maverick TV and evolved into Motorsport & Cars channel under ownership of Lucus Oil (the company that the naming rights to the Football Stadium in Indianapolis, IN, where the company is based out of) has been sold, RACER magazine announced they have acquired the network from Lucas Oil and will rebrand it to RACER Network while maintaining the motorsports/cars format the channel has been known for, no word on when the rebrand takes place but this seems to signal that Lucas Oil is getting out of the TV Industry.

The statement from RACER's website:
MAVTV acquired, will be rebranded RACER Network
