"Magic Garden" Hosts Inducted Into Long Island Music Hall Of Fame

Carole Demas and Paula Janis, who alongside a pink squirrel named Sherlock, fronted the daily children's show on WPIX/11 for twelve years, were inducted last night:

There is a caveat, however: The women are natives of Brooklyn and Queens, and these boroughs "are recognized as part of Long Island by the Hall". I thought only Queens was considered part of Long Island, and not Brooklyn, but that's just me.
