Here, I will paste it here in case you dont wanna go to the link above.

SAN ANTONIO-- How far would you go to get your stolen truck back? One business owner is using ads on the radio to try to locate his missing vehicle.

Ted Baker was still at work at his Restaurant Repair Company at 1 a.m. last Thursday when he heard a loud crash. He ran out side and noticed his moving truck crashed into the delivery door. He tried to drive it back into the parking spot, but he said it wouldn't drive. Baker said he didn't see anyone around or anything unusual. When he returned at 7 a.m. with an employee to move the truck, it was gone.

"I don't want to give up, you know. I want to do something to find my truck. I want it back," he said.

So Baker decided to use radio time to purchase an ad. He's offering a $500 reward for any information that would help him locate the truck. He says it's white with red and black graffiti on the driver's side and Pennsylvania plates. He described it as a big, moving-type truck, like a U-Haul or Ryder truck.

The truck cost him $15,000 and had $5,000 worth of equipment inside. His insurance isn't covering the loss.

Baker also said a truck was stolen a few weeks ago from a nearby business. He said surveillance video captured two men using a tow truck to haul it off.

He's gotten several calls from people who think they've seen the truck, but so far, it hasn't turned up. One caller said he spotted in south Texas on the way to Mexico. He's still looking for information, so if you've seen it, call police or his business at (210) 520-6640.

Point proven that radio will play ANYTHING if its bought and paid for. What do you guys think about this? I hope he finds it. It is certainly a nontraditional method and its creativity just might work.

When I was at Brownsville High School in the early 1970s, one of the candidates for student council president bought spots on the local Top 40 station.

He'll have the truck back in 48 hours. The publicity means the vehicle will be all but useless to the thieves.

Bloody good for him!
