I don't know how many of you read the Manchester, NH ratings on R&R, but for the first time since I started keeping tabs of the radio station ratings in 1979, WZID is not at the top of the ratings; Rock 101 WGIR-FM is!

Does anyone up there have a reason for 'ZID's downfall? ???

Almost looks like 'GIR was beneficiary of diary placement...I doubt a 50% increase in listenership since spring (12+) was real. 'ZID's numbers were steady.

That having been said, WZID sure isn't the powerhouse they once were when a 20 share was a bad book. My guess is that as they modernized the format...getting rid of soggy stuff and the 70s tunes and getting a little hotter may have driven off their older listeners, but their image of the station that plays Michael Bolton/Celine Dion, etc has worked against them in trying to attract today's 30 & 40 something women.
