Mara Davis over at Dave FM had a baby boy Thursday, Charlie, a healthy six-pound son. This is her first child. She was at work Thursday and left at noon to have her baby, according to her agent Norm Schrutt We should expect Mara back fairly soon.

In other news, I heard that Fred Toucher is thinking about leaving 99x and that 94.9 Lite FM might be switching formats within the next 18 months.

Also, Kimmer renewed his contract so he's not going ANYWHERE for a LONG time.

Mara Davis had her baby around August/September of 2005. You might want to reconfigure the Flux Capacitor in your Delorean, bro.

JAM'N 94.5, I see you are doing very well, lost touch with Rob Hogan we sort
of slightly crossed paths when I was at CBS and they broke it up to Entercom. I do

Ah, cool to hear. I worked with Mara 11 years ago at Z93, since then I've been at 103.1 The Buzz in South Florida and I haven't stayed up-to-date with what's happening in her life.

Good for her - and glad to see she's still on the air after all these years!

Mara Davis is one of those jocks who makes everything around her sound more fun and entertaining. I'll bet that's part of Dave's magic formula. Cool tunes, and plenty of great "glue" (stuff between the songs) to keep it from getting boring.

Dude, back away from the glue. Take Mara away from that station and Viacom will look into making the space into condos. PD Michelle Engle has made the music selection the tamest in radio history. DAVE-FM is a joke, save for Mara.

It would be hard to be the tamest in radio history when they are not even the tamest currently in Atlanta. That honor goes to the smooth soothing sounding radio staton knowns as 97.1 The River.

BTW, Happy Shavout Mara. It's actually one of the few non-depressing Holidays we have.
