TBS has ordered to series Mark Burnett’s “America’s Greatest Makers,” a reality competition series following teams seeking to make the next big wearable or smart connected consumer device, the network announced Tuesday.
In the competition, innovators will be tasked with producing breakthrough technology that is built on the Intel Curie.
Digital and socially driven content will kick off the early stages of the challenge leading up to the announcement of the semifinalists, at which point their progress will be chronicled on the TBS series.
“America’s Greatest Makers” will be accompanied by short form pieces which will run on other Turner brands including TNT, Adult Swim, CNN and Bleacher Report.
