Mark Curtis' shaving his mustache: Is this the hokeyest TV news stunt ever??!

You forgot to mention that 12 News is also giving away HD television to the 12th caller on the 10pm newscasts. Of course, we really don't know who is the news leader or laggard, since Michael Hagarty went to ABC15. Does anyone have any idea of the ratings race right now???? ???

That's not necessarily you specifically, but more the generic "you"
as in a typical TV viewer, which, as dhett noted in another thread
on the PHX TV board--your typical TV viewer (not us radio/TV geeks
of course!) just laps up this crap that passes for local news.

Heard about it at 92.3 (shame) and then remembered it's May sweeps, didn't watch.
"People losing jobs and housing, we can offer serious help...at 10" (Preferred)

or...

"Mark gets a shave...see never before seen video...at 10" (Flash)

Kent Dana's Christmas jacket or the court record of Lynn Sue's husband at Lake Pleasant would've been more preferable than a shaving of a 'stach.

No, I haven't watched, I heard about it here. Local TV news is pure garbage for simple minds. It makes People magazine look like literature.

What is next, Patty going for a Brazilian? :eek:
