This just in... Long Island Radio's very own Mark Daniels will be celebrating 25 years at WALK FM in Patchogue, and by special arrangement, WALK's previous morning man for 26 years Bob Klein will be flying up from Tampa to celebrate this special occasion with Mark on the air. It all takes place on Friday December 17th, and as Bob Klein "till 9 and again till 10" says: It's Time To Roll The Air-Check Tape! More details to follow as they develope.

Good that Bob is coming back, but I wonder how many people will remember who he is... it's been almost 15 years.
Will be interesting to hear what he sounds like. I wonder if he'll wander over to the AM to see his ol' buddy Jack??

Bob Klein is one of the kindest radio people I have ever met. When I was just a pip-squeak, he took the time to teach me some very important basics that I still utilize today. A Class act indeed.
Does anybody remember back in the early '90s that, even after retiring, Bob Klein would call in live from Florida to participate in WALK's morning shows? Goes to show you-- you never really leave the radio business. You just sort of take it with you...
