Martini Snooze Radio should go to all talk format, Lose Skin, Martini online

Just my humble opinion. I think a talk format and some decent personalities would bring some attention to the station and make it a little easier to sell. Martini Snooze radio is a tough product to sell.
Here's what to do. Go all talk. Swallow the pride a little and lose Skin radio. Put Martini snooze online. I think that would be a killer combo and at least give the sales people something to be proud of when they cold call and make a presentation.

I'd love to implement that myself (hint, hint)

What do my brothers of the board think about that programming idea?

Well, remember how Laura Ingraham's syndicator boldly vowed that she "will" return to Philadelphia... Fact is, there are other talk show hosts that are just as deserving of a clearance in this market. Regardless of signal, I'm sure some syndicators will want the clearance in Philly for billing purposes. Even if they have to broker their way onto the station. (Which will be the eventual status quo of AM radio as a whole at this rate, eventually...)

early2rise,

Not much can be done with the WHAT signal as it now stands. It's boxed in by WRAW and WMID. There are some Class C(former class IV)installing directional arrays to better cover their markets. Could that be done here? Possibly, but would the improved signal be worth the outlay?
