Asking if the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame Luncheon is history?
Went online to make reservations for the September luncheon and to find out the upcoming honorees. However, there was no listing. The only listings were for past luncheons and not listing for an upcoming luncheon.
Massasoit Junior College has been the sponsor of this luncheon since its inception with the invaluable help of Jordan Rich of WBZ Radio and Chart Communications as host. Confirming that no good deed goes unpunished Massasoit JUNIOR College dumped him for Tom Bergeron, the eponymous front for many network schlock programs.
Perhaps, the MBHOF Luncheon has served its purpose. It's award selection process of late has presented uninspiring honorees. Appears those who made the final selection have lost their way and the purpose of the luncheon.
