That seems like an awful lot for one show. What are they counting? Like if the errand guy (whatever their title is) goes to buy Starbucks coffee, are they counting the cashier at the Starbucks and the guy who made to coffee as part of the 400?

I assume this counts foreign TV shows, I know at least two Australian series are doing shows from Brooklyn but those shows only last about 5 or 6 episodes per season. Since they're bringing their own staffs with them, how much of that is counted? I guess it does contribute as the foreign staff have to live and eat in the city?

And I wonder if it counts partial filming? Like when "Rhoda" was filmed they would spend the first few weeks having Valarie Harper run in and out of building in NYC. Then use those shots to be inserted as the show was filmed in California.

Those numbers have to be inflated, like all 'jobs creation statistics' seem to be.
Somebody just fed Bloomberg some half-facts, and he went with it.
I guess it wouldn't be news if it was realistic though.

Nice for the City I live in. But more tax breaks given to the private sector is exactly what NYC doesn't need -- even if it's under the guise of promoting the City and creating jobs.

The less we see of Bloomberg the better. Counting down the months until he's gone...
