ME-TV & ANTENNA TV WORKED TOGETHER TO GRAB NBC UNIVERSAL LIBRARY FROM RTV

So does this mean the end of RTV anytime soon?

What is RTV doing wrong that it's losing all these contracts?

Well they have trouble telling the truth. Luken claims he did not renew the NBCU catalog due to them wanting him to encrypt the FTA signals. This is false because MeTV's FTA signal is in the clear AFTER the addition of NBCU material, and it leaked that Luken was planning to remove the KuBand feeds, but doing so would cost them many stations. They do not answer emails or phone calls to viewers or the media. It's no wonder stations are moving on.....

Also their PB&J promise went up in smoke as the Summer went and nothing
happened. They have been predicting that cartoon sub since 2010.

PBJ is up and running. One confirmed affiliate so far, and one additional one I cannot confirm.

Odd that their website still says COMING SOON.

I guess if a tree falls in a forest.........one person is hearing it.

The problem for RTV is that it's owned by a company that doesn't have enough in the bank to compete with even a minor media company like Weigel. Luken runs 4 channels that are primarily available on .2 and digital LPTV stations. Weigel and Tribune both have full power stations in major media markets that support their digital subchannels. Only hope for Luken's stations (in my opinion) is for a major station group to buy the company and provide its channels with strong affiliates. Long term, RTV is in trouble. There is other programming out there for it to pick up, but if anything is even remotely popular, you can bet Antenna or MeTV will swoop in and grab it.

You would think they would have a schedule for it, despite the 2 affiliates that are carrying it
