Note Doug Vaughn is back after a 1 year leave due to health issues.
It has been a year since Doug Vaughn last appeared on a KMOV sportscast. But he might be returning, at least on occasion, in the coming weeks.
Vaughn, a longtime and popular sports anchor and reporter at Channel 4, suddenly suffered an irregular heartbeat last August and was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with atrial flutter, which is less common than atrial fibrillation, and vertigo. It waylaid him. He was weak, disoriented and unable to work.
“Vertigo drops you to your knees,” he said this week. “You can’t even drive.”
