Bruce,

How successful are these meet and greets? Would love to do something similar for fans of dance music somehow.
You could try to have Pulse 87 organize it, then it will be very successful.

Tony, Nick - these Meet and Greats have been very successful. The last one had 80 people. They were organized by listeners not by the station. We picked Bens Deli since we could get a private room without having to pay in advance. We are not party planners and don't want to get involved with collecting and paying out money. Other restaurants wanted a deposit for a private room. The virtual community of the Saturday Night Oldies Message board became real. I think this could work for enthusiasts of dance music. I hope this helps.

IT WILL BE GREAT TO SEE PAT ST.JOHN AGAIN.

THANKS,

Let me make a clarification. You will have to pay for the food that you eat at the restaurant. Most likely, you would have pay less than $20
